Getting a ZERO energy home by installing solar panels was great. Looking to the future, we need to move away from Passive Solar (just panels) to Active Solar (Panels + Energy Storage). This change is becoming a necessity. The sun may set at 7 PM, but with storage and smart electric vehicle technologies like Vehicle-to-Grid (V2G), the solar revolution can power us through the night.
