Wait no further, because for this built project at the Singapore American School we used the waste heat to warm up the swimming pools. From the measured results we get a good system efficiency for this innovative cooling tower heat recovery installation - and we also save a lot of water from reduced cooling tower evaporation.

We developed a calculation tool that makes it possible to predict whether mould formation on building surfaces will take place and to what degree on the 0-6 Mould Index scale. Likewise, if mould growth already exists, our tool can calculate, how long it will take for the mould growth to subside by different interventions, such as installing dehumidifiers for the non-air-conditioning hours in office buildings.

This article presents a simulation study on air-conditioned warehouse energy performance, focusing on the balance between daylight use, artificial lighting efficiency and cooling load reduction. The aim is to identify practical design strategies that can help reduce annual electricity consumption and reduce the peak cooling demand in warehouse buildings in tropical Malaysia.
