Marianne's day job is as President of ElevateED creating schools that challenge the status quo- built on innovation, sustainability, and real-world impact. And who through strategic partnerships, develop future-ready learning environments that empower the next generation

Marianne arrives with an extensive leadership background in sales, marketing and branding leading complex and structural transformation programs in more than 15 countries across the Asia Pacific region. Her previous employment was also within the sustainability focused educational sector, namely as global group director of Education in Motion (EiM). With BASF Group, Marianne built a service competitive and differentiating advantage for the company. increasing customer loyalty and retention in China, Korea and the ASEAN countries. Marianne holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Middlebury Institute of International Studies in California with a major in Marketing.

On the personal front, Marianne has a passion for engaging with NGOs supporting young children with no access to schooling. Marianne is married to John, both from Denmark, after meeting in Singapore in 2000.
