Alia joined IEN Consultants Sdn. Bhd. in 2025, where she has continued to widen her range of knowledge by constantly exploring new technologies and advancements that focuses on sustainable built-environment design. In IEN, she has been involved in green certification projects for different types of buildings like retail malls, office buildings and schools. She has also developed skills in energy and thermal simulation using the IES VE (Virtual Environment) Software, which is crucial in helping clients understand their building design better and finding the best solutions for energy and thermal comfort.

Alia aims to continue growing her skills and capability to help create a brighter future for the next generation, as she believes that sustainable cities and communities are crucial in building a climate-resilient planet. She is dedicated to her ambition of creating a healthier, more sustainable, and environmentally conscious world.

In her prior role at BSD Consultancy Sdn. Bhd., Alia has been actively involved in a range of projects, encompassing high-rise residential buildings, landed homes, and townships, making use of the green building certification tools like GreenRE, GBI, and Green Mark. In 2023, Alia made a seamless transition to her role at LJ Energy Sdn. Bhd., where she continued to use her expertise in GreenRE and GBI certification tools focusing on residential homes, hotels and office buildings. During this time, she had gained her license as a GreenRE Accredited Professional (GreenREAP) with a passion to further assist in projects in terms of sustainable building practices and design.
