In 2025, Danial took a career change by switching his role as a sustainability consultant at IEN Consultants Sdn. Bhd., where he has the opportunity to apply his passion for sustainable design.

In his previous role at Nik Jai Associates, Danial was actively involved in a wide range of projects, encompassing residential and industrial buildings, government funded infrastructure projects and legalization of illegal buildings. He is experienced mainly in infrastructure design which covers water reticulation, drainage systems, road design and sewerage design. He also has experience in liaison work with clients, other consultants within the design team, local authorities as well as both main and sub contractors. Besides that, he has also been involved in preparation of tender and contract documents whilst being involved in the technical evaluation of a tender committee for appointment of a contractor. His previous day-to-day experience involves designing models on structural softwares, drafting on AutoCAD or reviewing Request for Information (RFI)/Material Approval (MA)/Work Method Statements (WMS) issued by a contractor.
