Director
Khim Bok joined IEN Consultants in 2011 and was appointed as director at IEN Consultants in December, 2012
Prior to joining IEN Consultants, Khim Bok was with Arup in Kuala Lumpur from 2001 to 2011. Whilst at Arup, Khim Bok had extensive experience in the design of building services for various types of buildings.His expertise include energy efficient and innovative air-conditioning and ventilation services, lighting systems, building management system / energy management system, vertical transportation, cold and hot water plumbing, waste discharge and sanitary services and fire protection services.
At IEN Consultants, Khim Bok has been focusing on optimization of MEP Systems in buildings (ACMV, Lighting, Power) to improve energy efficiency and occupant comfort. Khim Bok has also been involved in troubleshooting existing air conditioning systems and chiller plants to solve efficiency or performance issues.
Khim Bok has experience in energy simulations using the IES VE (Virtual Environment) Software, heat load analysis using the CARRIER E-20 II Heat Analysis Program as well as lighting simulation using the DIALux software. At IEN Consultants, we rely on these tools to find the best solutions for energy, comfort and financial payback.
In his free time, Khim Bok is an avid triathlete, having completed 4 full Ironman races so far.
