Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) Visit with Malaysian Green Building Industry Leaders
Green Business Certification Inc. (GBCI) representative, Mr. Rohith Ravula recently made a trip to Malaysia to strengthen ties and extend support to Malaysia's Green Building market leaders. IEN was pleased to be among the key stakeholder to host the GBCI representative as he presented LEED award to some of IEN's recently certified LEED projects, namely Plaza33 (LEED O+M Gold) and Menara Hap Seng 3 (LEED BD+C Gold).
Part of the visit also included a mutually beneficial discussion with the Ministry Of Health's (MoH) Sustainability Programs' team to discuss their ongoing relationship with GBCI and the LEED Certification system. MoH has, to date, 4 certified LEED O+M projects with Hospital Putrajaya and Hospital Jasin attaining Platinum certification levels. All of which, IEN Consultants played a key role as LEED Facilitators.
The presence of GBCI in South East Asia is a strong testament to the growth of the industry in this region and we look forward to taking the relationship to greater heights.
